Anne works closely with her clients to achieve unique architectural solutions that respond to the context of each site and to each individual client’s goals. She designs fluently in multiple architectural styles, drawing from architectural precedents and contemporary influences to create authentic, unique designs.
She has over sixteen years of experience in custom residential projects—from small remodels to new construction over 10,000 square feet—and everything in between. Her work has been recognized in local and national publications, such as Architectural Digest, Seattle Homes & Lifestyles, Southern Accents, and Luxe Interiors + Design.
Anne’s relationship-building approach and her insightful guidance make the design and construction process accessible and enjoyable for everyone involved in the project.

John Adams, AIA
Architect
John is passionate about creating architecture that is layered with ideas generated from his engagement with his clients. John aims to bring intelligence and humor to every conversation and listens carefully at every opportunity.
John has enjoyed leading projects in both commercial and residential settings. He has worked on various award-winning projects including the Whitehall Ferry Terminal on Manhattan in New York City, Deutsch Inc. in Los Angeles, and the Orion Building in Seattle. Other commercial projects include the Wilson Dental Building in Centralia, Brouwer’s Cafe in Seattle, numerous tenant improvements for the Washington Mutual Bank and the Salem Oregon Conference Center. John has designed many luxury residential projects including homes in Atlanta, New York City, Los Angeles, and on the Seattle waterfront.

John began his career in New York City, where he practiced under notable architect Frederic Schwartz. After moving to Seattle in 2001, John began to pursue a highly multi-faceted career engaged in residential and commercial works. In 2006, Stuart Silk Architects hired John to develop their commercial studio. Under John’s direction, the firm became the region’s leading provider of dental architectural services and designed award-winning office building projects.
In 2014, John and his wife Anne formed Adams Architecture. For John, this gives him the opportunity to work even more closely with his clients to create personal and engaging architectural experiences.
