PARKSIDE RESIDENCE
This extensive remodel of a midcentury home combines modern details with traditional forms.
All work was done within the existing footprint. With subtle but effective adjustments to the floor-plan, the house became more logically organized and functional.
The main entry was relocated to allow greater separation between the kitchen/family space and the entry door. A new entry bridge created a unique arrival experience.
Exterior finishes were updated and enhanced with subtle textural shifts in a monochromatic composition of dark and light. The palette of stucco, wood, and board-formed concrete plays against the contrasting aluminum windows & doors.
