This home sits perched on the north side of Capitol Hill with airy views of Lake Washington on the upper floor. It is a classic Dutch Colonial that was taken in a more contemporary direction on the interiors. A cohesive and modernist sensibility in casework, hardware, and lighting is a perfect foil to the traditional exterior. The house was modified to allow for a more open kitchen as well as a separate mud room/powder room entry on the main level. The new addition connects the kitchen to the rear garden spaces.
